Calendar Art

On Tuesday we had to pick 1 of 5 different types of art form Calendar art this year. I chose this one where you make a self portrait, print your picture black and white and then you cut it out  and stick it onto a background. Then you draw lines and colour it in.

It was really easy because you just print your self glue it on draw lines and colour in it took me about 3 days to finish. It was a fun activity.

Tyson Term 3 Recount

Captain Hook!!! On Tuesday Mrs Raisins inquiry group went to the hall to go to kiwican in the afternoon after lunch.

first game was chuck the chicken but it was a pig and it squeckś like a cow it was a bit crazy. One bunch of people went to the front of the hall and another group went to the back of the hall on the ground in a circle and past the cow around the circle and nathan says chuck the chicken so the person that had the chicken.

Also the front people has to say chuck the chicken chuck the chicken so many times that  -0we throw out chicken. After that we swopped over for ten minutes. Then the back people went one at the time and ran across the room once with the chicken.

I chucked the chicken once and ran once also I beat the other team by running. Today in room 8 we watched a video of chuck the chicken. Christian throw it out of the window

Levi Nikora and I made the the games called frizby through This is how you play the game.. it is where you have teams one team is on one side of the soccer post and and the other team has to go on the other side of the post.

This year two new sports are being added to the Paralympic Games. They are canoeing and triathlon. In the triathlon the athletes must swim 750 metres, cycle for 20 kilometres, and then run for 5 kilometres. Paralympic athletes may also compete in other sports including archery, boccia, football, judo, powerlifting, rowing, sailing, swimming, sitting volleyball, track cycling, wheelchair basketball, wheelchair fencing, wheelchair rugby, and wheelchair tennis. I choose: Lorde because she is famous Ella Marija Lani Yelich-O'Connor (born 7 November 1996), better known by her stage name Lorde (pronounced "lord"), is a New Zealand singer-songwriter. Born in Takapuna and raised in Devonport, Auckland, she became interested in performing as a child. In her early teens, she signed with Universal Music Group and was later paired with the songwriter and record producer Joel Little, who has co-written and produced most of Lorde's works. Her first major release, The Love Club EP, was commercially released in March 2013. The EP reached number two on the national record charts of New Zealand and Australia.
