Health/Wellbeing

For the last 2 periods this week in Bio/Health we are still learning about hauora of the 4 dimensions. First we had to write the 4 dimensions in Maori and English then we could look at the google slide for reference so we know what we could write. On the google slide there are alot of words for the 4 dimensions that we can write but we had to write them in our own words.

Taha Tinana P

• I am not that healthy because I eat quiet alot of junk
• I am quiet strong and im going to go to the gym next year with my mum
• I am not that flexible the only thing I can do is twist my hand right around
• I am not confident because I dont like going in front of people by myself

Taha Whanau SO

• I do help people sometimes with there work if they need help or for anything else
• I do be friends with alot of people at school and play with them outside of school
• I do talk to my friends because I like to talk alot and making a conversation with them

• I do believe in myself sometimes when I think that I am going to get it right
• I do have some goals this year which are to read at least 3 whole books and try to get to about 200 wins in fortnite
• I do show my values in class and at school.

Taha Hinengaro ME

• I like to achieve things when im stuck into it when it is really fun to do
• I enjoy lots of things that I like to do alot and that would keep me busy
• I feel emotions & feelings every single day but they are all happy emotions and feelings

This is my Physical Education Graph so far the reason that some of the graph isn't filled in is because that we haven't measured them yet we will do that in a week or so. Ill keep you updated.

Poem

Today in Hurumanu 6 we had to make a poem about ourselfs and based off I look in the mirror and what do I see? We had to copie off a template at write in our own words about ourselfs. It was really fun because I got to write it about things I love. I hope you like my poem that I have made.

Steve Jobs

This week for business studies we have been learning about entrepreneurs and what they do. What entrepreneurs do is that they organise a business or businesses and they show other people how to do so. Teachers told us to get into pairs and chose a entrepreneur and research about them, Benjamen and I chose Steve Jobs but he passed away in 2011 from cancer. We had to answer some questions about about this person. The questions will be in the slideshow that I am going to show you.

The new cooking room

Today in Home Economics We didn't cook because this is our first time in cooking for this year. The first task we wrote down the Expectations, Personal safety and Personal Hygiene. After that we went into the older kid kitchen room because we year 9's now and everything is different. After that our teacher gave us a task to tell yous about our first expressions on going into the new room.

What my first expressions was WOW because it was a lot bigger brighter and so much better. What I liked about it was that everything was tidy and cleaner that the other cooking room. Everything was much better I don't even know what to say.

In the weekend

Today in period 3 our teacher Mrs Hastie said that we are going to write a 300 word story for this period to do. Then Mrs Hastie wrote some things on the board to write about and I chose to write about this weekend.

In the weekend Cody is going to stay for night on Saturday.  On Saturday at about 9:00am I am going to scooter over to his house and pick him up. After that we might bike and scooter back to my house or his mum will drop us off.

When we get to my house Cody and I will go and do something before we go to my sister’s softball. At about 10:00am my Mum, Tim (Mums Boyfriend), my sister, Cody and I will go to hagley park to watch half of my sisters game of softball for about 30mins or so.  After that we are going to go to Hanmer Springs for the afternoon and for tea. When we get there we are going to the pools and get hydroslide passes. Then we will go in the super bowl hydroslide and then the new hydroslide that has been built. I did some research and it cost about 4.5 million dollars which is quite expensive. The reason we are not going on the new hydroslide because there will prob be a big line. After we go on the hydroslides we will go in the main big pool and the hot pools. After we are finished at hanmer springs pools we will go out for tea at a restaurant there. After that we might go to cheviot to say HI to Tim's parents and also they live on a farm and they got some animals. After that we will drive back to my house and have a rest and go to sleep.
