Dodgeball

Today we had 3 topics to write about that we have done in PE this year. The options were Dodgeball or maths and I chose maths. Once we have picked 1 of the topics we had to write the rules, How to play, Clever tips and equipment. After that we have to answer the questions about the maths or dodgeball. Here is what we have been doing.

Equipment:

  • 10 Round flat cones
  • 10 soft or dodgeball balls
  • 2 teams of as much players as you want (More players the better)
Rules:

  • If you get hit with the ball shoulders down you are out
  • You can go past half way of the court or field to get someone out
  • If you get out go out be "honest"
  • You can't kick the ball to get someone out
The object of the game is to get as much players out as possible

How to play:

  • Split your players into 2 teams
  • In the middle of the court or field place your cones in a line and place a ball on top of it
  • 1 team on one side of the court or field and the 2nd team on the other side
  • Run to the middle of court or field and get a ball and start getting people out.

  1. Hi Tyson.

I like how you have done a blog post about dodge ball rules because not many people know how to play it is really kind of you to share what you know about dodge ball and how to play.

I think that you could probably tell us more about how many people you need to play a game

next time you could show us a picture.

    why were you playing dodgeball

    1. Hi Levi.

The reason why we were play dodgeball is because the teacher said and because it was in PE and you were there LOL.

Next time check your spelling for next time.

Thanks for the feedback you have gave me.

    2. Hi Tyson
I like how you told us the rules of doge ball because not many people know how to play the game.

I wonder if you could add a bit more rules and
      tip.

      Maybe you could add photos.
