HE - Stir Fry

Last week in cooking we made Stir Fry, first when I got into the kitchen I got my apron on and sprayed the table and ect for my group to get ready for the lesson. After all of that was finished we got into our group and read the recipe. After that we got our mese on play ready and started making the stir fry.

Ingredients:
70g chicken (1breast)
1 carrot
1 onion
3-4 pieces of broccoli
1 zucchini2T sesame oil
1 pkt 2min noodles

Method:
1. Chop up chicken into strips
2. Place in glass bowl with sesame oil
3. Chop up vegetables in julienne strips
4. Saute chicken and onions together, Saute means to brown
5. Add broccoli and carrots and cook for 5 minutes
6. Add remaining vegetables of your choice and cook for a further 5 minutes
7. Boil a pot of water
8. Place the broken noodles into the boiling water and cook for 2 minutes
9. Drain noodles in a colander and add to the vegetable and chicken mixture
10. Serve

Sensory evaluation:

Smell: It smelt fresh but strong
Taste: It was salty and tangy
Sight: It looked like a golden brown colour

Rating from 1 - 5:

Probably 4 out of 5 because some colours like red were missing and some flavours but it was still delicious

What I would do differently: I would add more colours and flavours to just give it an extra taste

Our team worked well although Tobey and I did most of the work because the other 2 people in our group was mucking around and eating some of the veggies why we were cooking.

  1. I agree with your comments that it could look more appealing. I think it could be more colourful, what vegetables could you put in to make it more colourful?
This was your first dish this term so you have time to make future dishes look more appetizing.
How can you get everyone in your group to pull their weight?
    Well done Tyson.
