Definition: Matter of criminal justice especially as relating to the collection, examination and analysis to physical evidence

Finger prints

Aim: To look at the different types of fingerprints.

Materials: 

  1.   Balloons
  2.   Your fingers
  3.   An ink pad 

Steps

  1.   Get a ink pad and press your thumb on it
  2.   Then get a balloon and press your thumb on it 
  3.   After put your index finger on the ink pad
  4.   After that press your index finger on the other side of the balloon
  5.   Blow the balloon up

If you see slightly you can see my thumb on the balloon.
My balloon popped so I did it on a piece of paper (sorry but the photo isn't the greatest so you cant see)

Dusting fingerprints:

Lifting fingerprints

Aim: To learn how to lift hidden fingerprints from an object.

1. Lifting and Gathering fingerprints.

Equipment:
  1.   Sellotape 
  2.   Plastic
  3.   White powder (it smelt like baby powder)
  4.   A brush
  5.   Your fingers
  1. Get a piece of 
  2. Get white powder  
  3.  Brush white powder onto the piece of plastic
  4.  Take off some acsese of the white powder into the bin
  5. Press your thumb print and your index finger print onto the powder
  6. Get 2 pieces of sellotape and then press 1 piece of the sellotape onto your thumb print and then press the 2nd piece of sellotape onto your index finger
  7. Take off the sellotape slightly and your finger prints should be on the sellotape
  8. Take a photo

Results: It went very well just the fingerprints didnt show up properly that I thought it would be

Conclusion : It was a success but the finger prints didnt come out as well as I thought it would be and it was a very fun time
